| New Game Groups Launch! |
There is a surge of interest in board games in Australia. This is evidenced by the launching of two new gaming groups - and you can be there from the beginning and claim your place in history!
The Southside Boardgames Club meet every Wednesday in Hurstville, Sydney. They promise to play plenty of Euro games and are open to all ages, free of charge. They have their first meeting in February.
The King George Square Game Night meet at the King George Square (surprise!) in Brisbane. This will be a monthly event beginning March 25. This night is supported by Brisbane City Council, and promises a "big" game each month (think giant Scrabble rather than a 12-hour long 18XX game) as well as lots of other fun. |
