Australian Toy Association

The Australian Toy Association (ATA) is the Australian trade association working for toys, hobbies, infant products, video & electronic games and licensing. The ATA runs the annual Australian Toy, Hobby and Nursery fair and administers the Australian Toy Awards in conjunction with the fair.

Australian Games Association

The Australian Games Association (AGA) is the premier australian body for specialist game retailers.

Each year since 1998, the AGA members have voted on a Game of the Year and a Toy of the Year.

International

Game Manufacturers' Association

The Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA) is an international trade association of companies and individuals involved in the design, production, distribution, and sale of strategy, roleplaying, card, board, and family games.

Boardgame Designers' Forum

The Boardgame Designers' Forum is a resource for all aspects of designing boardgames, as well as a community for boardgame designers.

New Aussie Review site

There is a new site with game reviews by an Australian gamer Jimmy Castelli: www.castellireviews.com.  He has reviews of lots of new games such as Alien Frontiers and 7 Wonders in a standard words and picture format, but there is also a video channel with more information.
